ADA SIGNS

The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) states basically that all "PERMANENT SIGNS" must meet certain specifications. These Specifications deal with the color combinations permissable, the presence of raised tactile lettering, Braille, and the use on international symbols where applicable. The characters and background are required to be a non-glare finish. The characters and the background must contrast their background (either light characters and Dark Background or visa versa). The text must be at least 5/8" tall and the Braille must be Grade 2 and it must be 1/2" tall
